Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Programs

In compliance with the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, the University publishes a summary of its Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Programs (DAAPP), which includes information regarding University and campus policies prohibiting unlawful possession, use, or distribution of alcohol or other substances; University and campus sanctions regarding alcohol and other substance use violations by students or employees; federal, state, and local laws and penalties for alcohol and drug offenses; health effects of alcohol and substance abuse; and local resources providing assistance for substance and alcohol abuse (counseling, rehabilitation, or re-entry programs).  In addition to being provided for viewing and download here (see link above), the DAAPP is included in the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.  Notification of the availability of the DAAPP is sent to all UC Davis students and employees each Fall, as part of the notification of the availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
