The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act requires colleges and universities to disclose information regarding certain crimes that occur on or around the campus. The goal of the Clery Act is to provide students, prospective students, parents, and employees with accurate information about crimes on or near campus, and campus security procedures, to help ensure personal safety.
UC Davis issues the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Clery Act, by October 1 of each year. The UC Davis Police Department provides timely warning and emergency alerts to the campus community through the campus WarnMe system, and maintains a daily crime log on their website.
